We had our first ever reading of Grim Tales from the Brothers Kollin at Denver’s MileHiCon and chose Confessions of a Vampire Knight in the Zombie Wars as our first victim (see what I did there?). It went more than awesome, it went…well, what every author dreams about when they put words to screen. Abject delight, uproarious laughter, and the sound of a cheering audience. Both Eytan and I were more than pleasantly surprised. Actually, we were downright shocked. We knew we had a great voice in our protagonist but having never read him out loud and having actually forgotten about him in the rush to get stuff done, well – it buoyed our spirits greatly.
