In 2000, Eytan and I decided to try our hand at writing together. We’d been “what-if?”ing each other ever since we were kids and wanted to give one of those what-if’s a shot in print. When Eytan showed me the original concept for The Unincorporated Man, scribbled on a few pieces of paper, I knew we had winner. Nine years later, our first novel not only debuted to great reviews from Publisher’s Weekly, Booklist, and Library Journal, it was also designated a SyFy Essential and went on to win the 2010 Prometheus Award for Best Science Fiction Novel of the year. Our second, third and fourth novels, The Unincorporated War, The Unincorporated Woman and The Unincorporated Future were also nominated for the same award with the fourth becoming a finalist. The entire series has been optioned – whether as a movie or television series has yet to be determined. In addition to our recent release of Chemistry, Chaos, and Steam: A Magistery of Dunces on Wattpad.com and Grim Tales of the Brothers Kollin, an anthology with Wordfire Press, we’re currently working on our next novel, a high concept Asmovian mystery.
